JR S.A. de C.V. is registered as an exporter. One thing stands between us and the first export under our own name: the Honduran company bank account.

01 · What is done

The company side is in place.

Done

Honduran company

Jungle Root Organics S.A. de C.V., RTN 08019026320253, registered with SAR on Feb 5, 2026.

Done

Ownership 50 / 50

Luis joined as shareholder (assembly act of Jul 13), registered with the Chamber of Commerce Jul 21. Luis has his personal RTN.

Done · Oct 2

Registered exporter

The law firm confirmed it on Oct 2. They have not yet sent copies of the registrations.

Done

Product documents

Technical data sheet, safety data sheet and the annual Certificate of Analysis, all in JR's name. A per-lot batch document comes with each lot.

02 · What blocks

No bank account, no export.

The lawyers, Oct 2: authorities must see the money for the goods enter Honduras. Without a company account, an export under JR's name cannot go out.

Banco Atlántida: approved, waiting on us

  • Atlántida approved both company accounts on Sep 7. It was the only yes: Ficohsa and Lafise declined, and BAC wants six months of Honduran banking history first.
  • It needs a FATCA self-certification form from Luis and from Tony.
  • The law firm is holding $540 of our money for the opening deposits ($350 USD account, $190 lempira account). It stays ours once the accounts open.
  • The bank gave a one-week extension on Sep 21. That has run out, so the approval may need to be confirmed again.
Decision for Tony: yes or no to Banco Atlántida this week.
03 · Cost per shipment

What each export costs in paperwork.

The old estimate in our records was about $600 per order (June). The lawyers' real number is higher, and it is per shipment, not one time.

The fee is flat, so it weighs most on small orders. For small shipments, compare it with shipping through the producer's existing export before deciding.

04 · Open questions

Five answers we still need.

A WhatsApp message for the lawyers' group is drafted with these five. It has not been sent.

  1. Bank: yes or no to Atlántida, plus the FATCA formsOur side. Tony decides; Luis and Tony sign.
  2. Which registrations are complete?SECEH/CENTREX, customs (SARAH), Central Bank form UC-03. We want copies for our files.
  3. Can JR be the exporter on the B/L and Certificate of Origin while the producer makes the oil? This is what lets us export under our own name with our current supply.
  4. Is the Certificate of Origin inside the $2,000 / $1,600?It is required for every export but was not in their Oct 2 list.
  5. How many days per shipment, and what are the government fees?We need this to quote lead times and landed cost to buyers.
